The pose of the hands, held at the level of the heart, also form a triangle. Kwan YIn also embodies sincerity, a quality no woman should be without. Confucian tradition teaches that the spiritual force fuelling self-transformation and self-realisation is called 'sincerity", or ch'eng, or humanity called jen. When a person fully develops their true nature through sincerity, she or he forms a trinity with Heaven and Earth.
