The Effect of Colors on the Physical Body and Mind | Properties of Color Energy and Applications | Radiation from Sun-Rays & From Electric Rays:

The Effect of Colors on the Physical Body and Mind

White: Peaceful, calming, serene and sober.
Violet: Spiritual, high thinking, intelligent, for concentration & meditation.
Blue: Soothing, vastness (sky and sea), power of speech, power of expression, emotions (connected with throat chakra – choking with emotions) and stabilizing.
Green: Cleansing, life-giving (chlorophyll in green vegetables). Soothing & normalizing effect.
Yellow: Lower emotions like anger, hate, irritation, resentment, worry, anxiety, tension, fear, etc.
Orange: Knowledge; wisdom
Red: Self-preservation or instinct of survival.

The entire creation is nothing but a play of energy. All the objects, and the events that are happening, are nothing but the conversion of one energy into other, resulting in the creation of something new.

We get this energy from sun, air, sky, ground or earth and from the food we eat. This energy is called Prana Shakti or simply Prana. Air Prana, solar Prana and the ground or earth Prana are made of white, or general, Prana.

The seven visible colors of sunlight are violet, indigo, green, blue, yellow, orange and red. When a ray of the sun passes through a prism, these seven colors are visible. Two invisible colors of sunlight are ultraviolet and infrared. In the Vedas, especially the Yajurveda, Rig Veda and Atharva Vedas there is a reference to the healing of diseases by the sun’s rays and hence the sun bath is given importance in Naturopathy.

Air and ground energy are called, “vitality globules” in esoteric parlance because, when they are seen clairvoyantly or by a person with slightly more sensitive eyes, they appear as small spheres or globules of light. Vitality globules come in different sizes. Some contain more units of white Prana and some contain less.

Ground vitality globules interpenetrate the ground and extend several inches away from it. They are denser or more closely-packed and usually bigger than air vitality globules. Some of the bigger air vitality globules can be easily seen by just staring at the sky for a few minutes especially just before sunset. With more practice one can also see ground vitality globules just a few inches away from the ground.

COLOR PRANAS

Vitality globules (conglomerations of units of white Prana) are absorbed by the chakras where they are digested and broken down into components. When white Prana is digested, it produces six types of color Pranas corresponding to the colors of the rainbow. A substantial amount of air Prana or energy is absorbed directly by the front and back spleen chakra. Air Prana is broken down into different color Pranas and distributed to the other chakras. Ground Prana is absorbed through the chakras in the soles of the feet, and then goes to the basic chakra. A portion of the ground Prana is directed upward to the spine and other chakras while a larger portion is directed to the perineum minor chakra, to the navel chakra, then to the spleen chakra where it is broken down and distributed to the other chakras. All this takes place automatically or at the subconscious level.

Medicines are prepared using the various colors for specific ailments. Physicians and healers can study this in depth. The following is a breakdown for the general reader of the red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet colors of which white Prana is composed, and their uses in color therapy.

Violet Prana has the properties of all the other five Pranas combined and is potent. It is used for severe types of ailments. Here are a few of the guidelines for its use:

  1. Light violet, light bluish-violet and light greenish violet Pranas have regenerating effects and can be used to heal damaged organs and nerves. It also helps in rapid healing of fresh wounds.
  2. It is much safer to use light whitish violet than dark violet Prana since it will have a reverse reaction.
  3. Violet Prana has a high amplifying or multiplier effect on the properties of other color Pranas when it is projected simultaneously with another color Prana.
  4. We never project violet and red Pranas simultaneously since the effect is very destructive. It will cause some of the energized cells to become very hot, to expand and burst.
  5. We also do not project violet and orange Pranas simultaneously since the effect is very destructive and will cause some of the energized cells to explode. Projecting violet and yellow simultaneously causes rapid chaotic cell growth.
  6. Both white Prana and violet Prana have the properties of all the color Pranas. The difference is that violet Prana has a greater penetrating effect and is easier to assimilate than white Prana. Therefore, violet Prana has a faster effect than white Prana.

Radiation from Sun-Rays & From Electric Rays:

Color therapy is unique in that glass, transparent plastic or cellophane of different colors can also be used for radiation on any external or internal part of the body. Sun rays are used for correcting the deficiency or excess of a particular color or chemical imbalance in any part of the body.
