Tailoring expansion

July 19, 2012

Also managed by SSSEWWT, the tailoring project makes all of the operating theater gowns and patient gowns for the General and Super Specialty Hospitals at the ashram, as well as baby sets for the General Hospital to give to newborns.

This project also accepts tailoring and alterations requests from staff and devotees, and large orders from groups who need their group uniform saris fixed, or costumes stitched for performances in Sai Kulwant Hall. Among other countries, Brazil, Germany, U.S.A., South Africa, Macedonia and Malaysia have taken advantage of this service.

Many of the fabric decorations for festivals held in the Hall, such as the pillar decorations and swags and draperies, are also being done by the tailoring group.
